A lovely piercing place.... I found all the staff extremely friendly and knowledgeable, always keen to put you at your ease and to help and advise. On my first visit I was shown around the studio and the piercing equipment. This helped me relax and gave me confidence in the health and safety aspect of the studio. (A good piercing studio should be happy to answer any questions you have; after all it's your body they're dealing with! In response to JB's review, Punktured is a body piercing studio! If he had wanted advice on tattooing then perhaps he should've asked at a tattoo studio! Dur!

From our experience, the people who work in Punktured are not only judgmental, but condescending and rude. On asking a simple question about varieties of tattooing, we felt we were dismissed on the fact that none of our tattoos were visible and therefore the staff seemed to not consider us worthy of an adequate response. In fact, they actually sniggered at us as they perceived us to be inexperienced with the world of tattooing when in fact between us we have had a lot of work done spanning 15+ years.

Considering tattoo culture is supposed to be about free expression and liberal like-minded people, we were shocked by the attitude of Punktured staff. We will continue to get our work done at the rather more friendly and professional, IN2U.

I'm one of those odd people who likes to have holes put in them, and whenever I decide I'd like a new one I usually go back to the same place. Punktured is a body piercing studio located in the North Laines in Brighton (which is in East Sussex, not Essex as the description states :oP). So far I've had my tongue, lip and tragus pierced there, and I can say nothing but good things about them.
