House Of FraserNewest Review: ... purchased a Ted Baker suit from the store and decided that the sleeves were a touch to long on the jacket so they offered to alter them for me free of charge. Excellent I thought! 5 days later, I returned to collect my suit jacket only to find that there were a few 'dirty' marks on it, the sleeve looked uneven and 'snagged' and worst of all the inner lining in the sleeve had been ripped! ... more |

This is a review for the suit alteration service offered by House of Fraser at the Meadowhall shopping centre in Sheffield. A little bit specific I know, but I feel I must share my experience! I purchased a Ted Baker suit from the store and decided that the sleeves were a touch to long on the jacket so they offered to alter them for me free of charge. Excellent I thought! 5 days later, I returned to collect my suit jacket only to find that there were a few 'dirty' marks on it, the sleeve looked uneven and 'snagged' and worst of all the inner lining in the sleeve had been ripped! Not great considering the jacket cost £230! The trousers ... Read the complete review

This review is on the House of Fraser Department store in Glasgow and aimed at the female reader. (sorry guys, I'm not so up on the boy's stuff!). The Glasgow House of Fraser is fab. It has gone through a fantastic overhaul. What was once a bit frumpy and old fashioned, is now a really up to date store that is a pleasure to shop in. House of Fraser is located at 45 Buchanan Street, right on the corner of Buchanan Street and Argyle Street. A great location where all the good shopping is to be found. The nearest train stations are Central Station and Queen Street, only minutes away by foot. If you are driving you should know ... Read the complete review

Having just reviewed Debenhams Westfield, I thought I had better be fair and review my experience of the House of Fraser at Westfield also. The House of Fraser seems a lot bigger than any of the other stores in Westfield, and holds seemingly hundreds of concessions. I was impressed by the selection that House of Fraser had to offer, but many of the desingers only have a small space and not a great selection within them. I personally prfer less brands with more space, but I appreciate they may have been going for a wider selection rather than a wider range of products. The customer restaurant in the House of Fraser has beautiful floor to ceiling ... Read the complete review

House of Fraser is a large department store similar to the likes of debenhams - only smaller. They are usually found in towns and cities in the centre. House of Fraser has a range of concessions including Warehouse, Oasis, Therapy amongst others. Beware! You can only take things bought in concession stores back there. You cant take them to a normal store. The layout of the store is usually simple and easy to navigate with the store separated into sections, menswear, womenswear, makeup/fragrance and homeware. Some House of Fraser stores also have a cafe. I really wouldnt recommned this - very overpriced and my sandwich must have been stood for days ... Read the complete review
