Advantages: our shop gives good customer service

Disadvantages: customers aren't always right

I have worked for radio rentals for over three years now.
I don't always agree with everything they do, but now they have merged with granada and have changed their name to boxclever we are trying to come up with new ideas.

i think we offer a better service than most electrical shops i know, especially Dixons etc.

Iam the type of person who likes to treat customers the way i would like to be treated myself.
I always go out of my way to please the customer, as i would like them to return happy and content.
people have to remember it is a hard job working with the public, and a lot of lies have been told about the staff and the company.
Sometimes i go out of my way to help just for it to be thrown right back in my face.
I just pick myself back up and start again.

As for the ex rental range which we sell, we hardly get any returns at our shop, most of the time a customer will say it is faulty because they don't know how to tune things in properly.
they come in shouting thinking this is the way to get their money back.
Most of the time, it is just something and nothing that needs to be done.
A video that has been out on rental can be tuned in for a different region and just needs adjusting with the rf modulator on the back.
it tells you this in the instruction book and if i can do it i'm sure anyone can.
I'm not that technically minded, but where i work all the staff are willing to help.
it's no use coming in shouting, since working in a shop i have learnt to be more patient in other peoples shops.
Sometimes it's not the staffs fault.

At the moment because we have just gone through a merger it is a stressful time for us all, i wish customers could just be that bit more understanding as we have now double customers, and need to learn each others systems.
I think that the future is bright if people will just stop to think what is important in life, and not to ge
t irate at trivial things.
If you aren't satisfied with something try being calm and polite it works in our shop.

if you can just bear with us , the boxclever company will be the best there is.
Somebody will always find fault wherever you go.

I've owned my own video for 5 years. The picture went fuzzy and then it chewed up 2 tapes. Don't blame Radio Rentals like they hate you, that's what video's do! And computers...and microwaves...and ...

However, this guy seems to be in a minority at Radio Rentals. Search for 'Box Clever' and read the reviews there. I never though I'd read reviews more damning than those at Curry's.

You don't need to read too many reviews like these to realise that poor customer service is endemic throughout the company.

The best thing you can do mate is get your chief exec to read DooYoo, then bang some heads together and sack a few jobsworths that believe this is the way customers like to treated.

I am glad to hear that some one in Box Clever has customer services in mind. The store I went to didn't and prompted me to get a new section opened on dooyou so I could write an opinion.

Buy all of my T.V's now ex-rental from Boxclever and have excellent product and service .
