I've been a member of Retail Eyes for a while now following a random search for mystery shopping sites a few years ago. My wife and I both signed up and took in turns to accept assignments. At the time it was mainly for pub visits but has since expanded and there a wide selection of jobs available. You can use the search function to look for jobs that are available near where you live, or where you might be visiting. There are detailed notes for each job and it's clear up front how much you will earn for doing the job and what you are allowed to spend (which will be reimbursed). I have been a member of retail eyes for well over a year now and, to be honest, its all a bit hit and miss. Once you have signed up to it, accepting an assignment is simple. Just log in and choose available assignments and it shows all the ones within your specified area. You then click on one and are given basic info such as payment and dates available. You also need to click on a button to download the assignment notes. These give you a great deal of detail about what to do on the assignment and what to expect. My experience of retail eyes is they are very greedy, paying their employees next to nothing, the questionaires take ages to complete and if you make the slightest error your wages will not be paid!!! Now i am not alone with my experience. It was only last month at a mystery shopping training day when everyone said the same about them, like "they expect the World and the moneys absolutely pitiful," "i did one visit for them but never again," "they constantly were hounding me on the telephone and driving me up the wall,"etc! No one had anything good to say about them!!! Therefore i find it amazing that they still have mystery ...
