Richer sounds customer service:Very good - if you get the right person to serve youHorrible - if you get the wrong person. Tip: ensure that it really is factory sealed if its says 'new' on the receipt. Always loved this place and have spent a lot of money on different products and they do have some bargains but when it comes to returning stuff, some staff can be horrible! they sold me an open box item as brand new, i got it on a deal so didn't bother ensuring that it is factory sealed, brought it back to return it and the deputy mgr gave me a hell of a time saying that they sold it to me brand new and as i have opened ( not really as it was cellophane sealed) it, 15% re-stocking fee!! Argued and got a refund! not easy..

All style and no substance! This store claims to offer customer service and support beyond the likes of Comet, Currys & Dixons. Don't be fooled, they dont't!! They follow the usual model, all the advice you need to get you to buy something, but once you have, they don't want to know. Everything is somebody else's ... Read the complete review

Extremely impressive! The courier company they use,City Link, claimed to have attempted to deliver on Saturday. No attempted delivery and no card so i suspect lazy, idle driver who just could't be bothered.Any way called customer service and someone from the nearest store is driving round now with replacement goods!Fantastic service from Richer Sounds but they do need to change their delivery company...City Link are rubbish.

My Richer Sounds experience goes way back many many years. I bought a Fisher amplifier for something like £45 when everyone else was charging about £200, a bargain by anyone's standards. Well, they are still around and although I do not have a local one, when I go into Bromley or Maidstone they get a visit from me. The shop in ... Read the complete review

I used richer sounds for the first and only time in July and have to say the service was really good. I went to richer sounds as, after doing, research I found they had the best deal for a cheaper 32" LCD. I brought a JVC 32" DY8 with a 5 year extended warranty for £380. I asked for that actual model when I got in ... Read the complete review

I first found out about Richer Sounds when a new store opened over 10 years ago in Prestwich, Manchester. The store back then seemed pretty small but very cheap, even back then Richer Sounds was meant to be big commercially, but it isn't like what it is commercially today (Richer sounds are meant to be in the world record books for ... Richers Sounds is (almost in their own words) the UK's biggest and most full of bargains Hi-Fi store in the UK. Over the years I've certainly bought into this and have purchased most of my Hifi seperate from their Edinburgh or Leicester stores. They have in total around 30 across the UK, they are often small, in cheap locations ... Read the complete review

I discovered Richer Sounds over 10 years ago and have never bought any hifi component anywhere else since. Sure their shops (eg Kingston, Southall, Chelsea) are in difficult edge-of-the-place locations and are small but the staff are great and the prices keen. They were superb when an amp went wrong (Kingston, fixed very quickly, ... Read the complete review

Rather than say they are 'amazing' or 'useless' (they have been both extremes and everything inbetween for me over the last five years) I would like to suggest a few tips about shopping with Richer Sounds. Richer Sounds are one of those companies that I've always liked the idea of.
