I go through phases of having favourite high street stores but for a while now it has been River Island ... I just cannot get enough of it! I am finding that a good proportion of my weekly budget is being spent there lately. I have updated a lot of my wardrobe so far and every time I log onto the we website there are always other new items that I take a liking to! Just last week I had to phone my local store because I had spotted the cutest ever purse I have ever seen on the website, I rushed into town on my lunch hour and found that there were still plenty in store. It was the Union Jack purse that I had bought for £16.99, it is quite a large purse and has leopard print lining inside. It is truly gorgeous! Lately I have also splurged out shirts for work as they are not plain and add that little extra detail which you can tell quality above the rest! I bought a dress at the weekend which is the most stylish Sex In the City dress I have ever bought. It was a floral style skirt with a neon green belt and a black racer back top - this was an outfit all in one but yet it looked like I had cleverly put it all together! I did not (in fact in my profile picture I am wearing that exact dress). I absolutely love it!

River Island is great for stylish trendy jeans, bootcut, skinny, boyfriend style and there are always plenty of different styles to choose from. For casual tops it is reasonably priced and far better quality than what you might find in Primark for half the price so definitely worth the money! The dresses are stunning and full of detail and look classy, I would wear them all! For going out tops there is always something that dresses up and outfit and if you are really struggling the accessories section can jazz up any outfit with smark waist belts and neck ties etc. I am really into the purses and bags at the moment, they are all so cute and gorgeous and I think amazing value. An average handbag setting you back around £40.00 but they last long and look ultra stylish. Many styles of purses to choose from and many matching purses and bags. The padded quilted effect look bags and purses are very trendy at the moment and I already own a black and a pink one (what is a girl to do with so many purses - really is becoming too much of a habit now). The shoes are so sexy but you would probably reach the ceiling wearing them as the main trend at the moment seems to be killer heels and they are sky high, but oh so sexy! The shoes seem to be the most expensive items they have in the stores. I managed to bag a brand new pair of leather knee high boots with gorgeous detail from £80 to £40 in the sale recently - absolute impulse buy as I still haven't got round to wearing them yet! River Island sales always seem to have good stuff and at half the price ... well worth it. The January sales seem to be the best though for the bargains!

Overall River Island just gets better and better and I am such a fan you can find me in there on a weekly basis.

Summary: River Island is such a fantastic high street shop .. I love it!
