Stuck On River Island (River Island)

I used to think River Island was border line chavvy, until I became a little obssessed and they do have some nice peices for both men and women. Unfortunately, I don't think this is just me, there has been a sudden price hike, so I only go in for the sales.

I have to say I will always shop in River Island for jeans, they used to only cost £30, now £40 to £50. Although they are slightly big on the waist, they fit well everywhere else and I have to use a belt, they are good quality.

River Island have a selection for both men and women including everyf=day wear, party wear, accessories and some pretty amazing bags. I do find that some of the mens wear can be used a swomens wear, e.g a long jumper over leggings or jeans with a belt and it fits well.

The staff are very friendly, they try and cater for everyones needs. I find the ships modern but noisy, the music gets on my nerves after a while but I suppose I could just use their website.

I do think they are trying to make themselves a bit designer like with bags and shoes for over £100, they are priced themselves out of a big market. I personally can not see myself spending that much and I can get 4 pairs of heels in New Look for £100. The quality is good and their designs are bang up to date with dresses copying catwalk styles, you couldn't tell the difference.

I thin alot of the stuff they offer, you can get for cheaper but then again they are good quality and fashionable. I don't think an extra tenner will put young women and men off shopping there.
