Advantages: none
Disadvantages: high prices, damage goods
A few years back when my children were in grade school, I open a bag of French fries, that I got at Safewaya day or two before. I baked them in the oven. When they were done, I place them onto the counter. I started to nibble on some, and low and behold, I had a mouthful of real fine glass. I called my husband into the kitchen, after I had emptied my mouth. He looked through the fries, and he found several pieces of glass. He put the fries into a paper bag, then he went to see the manager at Safeway. After he saw the manager, they refund our money and took that brand off their shelves. He did ask if anyone was hurt. A few years later, I bought some butter from Safeway. When I got home I open the package to put a stick into my butter dish and when I took off the wrapping, the butter was a dark blue. It came from the wrapper. We took it back. And they did refund my money, and took it off their shelves. Two years went buy, then their ?Safeway Club card? came in to being, and I started to shop there again. The savings was excellent. Then they got the bright idea to remodel their store. Which is bigger, but now even with the club card the prices are high. So now I shop some place else.
