There are some perks to my job, not many, but some. Often the best comes with ?desensitisation? work, that is helping people overcome their anxieties by gradual exposure to their problems, in my line of work usually the community.. This could be going to the supermarket, café, using the bus or even a walk in the park. It is for this reason I find ... Read the complete review

In the past year I have noticed that my local Safeway has gone from being a cheap but credible supermarket to one that appears to entice you in with their wonderful offers just to empty your purse at the checkout! Beware! Those offers, if you are ever able to find any on their shelves, are just temptations to get you to enter the store ... Read the complete review

*~*~*INTRODUCTION*~*~* I thought I would share with you all the Safeway store in Hucknall. I shop here mostly when I run out of something, and when I need to a little bit of shopping. Let me tell you more about the store. *~*~*INSIDE THE STORE*~*~* Well it is very spacious and pretty clean and tidy as for the shelves as ... Read the complete review

A few years back when my children were in grade school, I open a bag of French fries, that I got at Safewaya day or two before. I baked them in the oven. When they were done, I place them onto the counter. I started to nibble on some, and low and behold, I had a mouthful of real fine glass. I called my husband into the kitchen, after I ... Before I start, I would like to say that I am an Asda fan, but as Safeway have a store right next to my house, I find myself in there a couple of times a week picking up the odd item, and to be honest, I can only afford to pick up the odd item, because excluding their weekly special deals (which I will come to later), Safeway are very very ... I do not do my shopping at safeway for one reason and that is that it is so much dearer than its nearest rival. I noticed a while back that everyday items are a few pence dearer with milk being 4p dearer for a four pinter, and own brand bread being 2p dearer. When you add these small price diffences up I'm sure that it must cost a ... Read the complete review

I have to shop at Safeway as I don't drive and it's less than a 10 minute walk from my house but be assured I wouldn't if I had a choice. Why? Because they are so overpriced it is unbelievable. I sometimes get to shop at Sainsbury's if my husband takes me in the car on a weekend, and price comparisions are laughable. ... Read the complete review

So we're off again. Time to write about a Supermarket that's a little more, well, upmarket than my old favourite Netto. 1st and foremost, I sure you've all heard about Safeways so I'll spare you all the "Where to find" info but, for those who are non-UK residents - these supermarkets are nationwide with a ... Safeways is a supermarket like Tescos and Asda. Now I could shop at any supermarket but I choose Safeway for many reasons. Firstly the paticular one I use is close by so its helpful to me but obviosly that doesn't mean you should go running out to your nearest one. Safeway's prices are on a day to day basis the same as Tescos, the ... Read the complete review

Safeway is one of the big 4 supermarkets in the UK and in recent weeks one has opened in my near by town and I must say it has revolutionised my shopping habits. *****Nice Shop, Nice Staff***** Before the construction of this supermarket I was stuck with having to shop in the Co-ops Fiveways store and in my opinion it is ... Safeway supermarkets seem to be trying to brighten up their image and project themselves back onto the stage as serious players in the supermarket game. Once the bastion of all that was bad with cheap and cheerful inner-city supermarkets now Safeway is presenting a more upmarket image. I have a Safeway store close to where I work ... Last Friday the boyfriend decided to embark on a booze cruise with the lads, and after an exhausting week, I was looking forward to a night in by myself, slobbing out in my PJ’swith some videos, a nice meal and a glass or two of wine. I have been a regular shooper at Safeway for the last 8 years. Generally, I have always thought that they are a little overpriced but there stores were in a convenient location for me so I didn't mind paying that little bit extra. I've always like shopping at Safeway ever since I first stepped through their doors about six years ago. In the beginning it was the lovely large clean and bright store that I fell in love with, together with the fact that I was so impressed with the range of food that they sell, there was so much choice in there. I also liked ... Read the complete review

Having just returned from my local Safeway I thought I would type this op now. I have loved our Safeway even when it was smaller when my mum used to take my there to help her do the shopping. I'm not a regular shopper at Safeway. Mainly because there isn't a Safeway store near my home. However I do occasionally shop at Safeway in Skegness when I'm round that area, mainly on day trips.
