I recently had cause to write to Sainsbury's to complain about some mouldy peaches and broken meringues that I had bought. I was less than complementary about them and really expected to have a standard letter in response if anything. I was delighted to receieve a lovely letter two weeks later with a voucher along with profuse apologies.
I have tried other supermarkets but none of the others match Sainsbury's on quality or customer service.
Summary: If something goes wrong, they will put it right without a fuss.
