Advantages: Good quality food, and good offers

Disadvantages: none

Mum and dad always shopped at Sainsbury's, so I just carried on shopping there. We did try Asda, Tesco and Morrisons, but didn't like any of the shops.

Sainsburys do seem to be more expensive on the prices than the likes of Asda and Tesco, however with the credit crunch and everything going on at the minute we are looking at trying to reduce our bills, so I used mysupermarket.co.uk and put all of my shopping in the basket on sainsburys. It then compared the prices to Asda, Tesco and Ocado, and guess who was cheapest.....Sainsburys. So I now feel that Sainsburys is not as expensive as it used to be.

We never used to mind paying a little more at sainsburys as the fruit and vegetables and all of the fresh items were much better quality than the other supermarkets, so I feel that you pay for what you get so to speak.

What I also like about Sainsburys since having a baby is the offers they have on.
Our local sainsburys expanded last year to accommodate the TU clothing range, and they always have 1/3 off the baby clothes or 25% off. They also do a ½ price on baby items or 1/3 off, which is fantastic as you can get baby wipes and nappies for a lot less, so I like to stock up when the offer is on.
When I was pregnant I got all the likes of the baby bath range from Johnson's, the dummies, Milton, sudacrem, nappies and wipes for half of their original price.
I also got my daughter a really thick winter jacket for £4...bargain. They have a really good range of baby clothes, so I don't generally have to go anywhere else to get her clothes which is great.

On the topic of babies, there is a fantastic changing facility, and quite a lot of car spaces for parent and baby, the only problem being is they have put them right near to the shop so this gives people the right without children (so they think) to park in them rather than parking in normal spaces.

In general I think I really like Sainsbury's for its offers, this week we got a litre of Baileys for £10 on offer from £17.99, and the week before we got half price toys.

On top of all the good offers they have, they also offer the nectar card scheme. We always save out points up for Christmas, and usually have approx £50 to spend on all our alcoholic beverages for Christmas. You can also get the nectar points on your fuel at sainsburys petrol station, and they always nearly offer 5p off a litre of fuel when you spend £50 in store, which is great for us, as we take both cars together and pay in one transaction so it works out we get 5p a litre of each car.

What I also liked about our sainsbury's is when they were extending the store, they hadn't put anywhere in the likes of the paper they would be completely shut for certain times of the day and so when we turned up to go shopping we had a workman turn us away, so I wrote to Sainsburys about it and they put about £20 worth of nectar points on my card for the hassle.

Summary: Will never change my supermarket
