Advantages: A lot of products to suit all different types of budgets
Disadvantages: Still a little pricier than some stores
Thought I would share with you some of my thoughts, impressions and experiences of Sainsburys. I find Sainsburys to be a good all round supermarket.
I have to be honest though. I never normally shop at Sainsburys, but recently I have received some money off vouchers for the store near to me so I thought I would give it a try (again). On the whole Sainsburys sells a wide range of products aimed and suited to most budgets, and I feel it gives some of the most generous rewards in terms of Loyalty. For example you get points back onto your Nectar card for reusing bags, and you get points for getting petrol! All the loyalty points add up and you can soon shop them in for whatever tickles your fancy. Even Sainsburys vouchers, which when added up can bring your grocery bill down a heck of a lot.
Sainsburys stores seem to be clean, tidy and easy to find your way around. The staff seem friendly and helpful, and the shelves always seem to be full or being in the process of being stocked. The Sainsburys store near me has a fresh bread section and cake section (this maybe different or alternative in your store)
My overall experience with Sainsburys is good, but I think it would be even better if they lowered there prices even more, as I still think they are a little bit more expensive than other (no makes mentioned) Supermarkets.
Summary: A good supermarket, where you can usually find or buy what you want, good loyalty/reward scheme
