Advantages: Recipe cards give food for thought

Disadvantages: Price

I don't know what it is, but every Sainsbury's that I've been to has been freezing cold.

The fruit and veg is not that great and far too expensive. You can get much better quality items at your local grocers, or even Marks & Spencer (which seems to be almost the same price).

The fish selection is good, but they don't look that fresh. The fishmongers are not that well trained because if you ask hem to de-scale the fish, you usually get a fish that is full of scales.

I like the recipe cards, but that's about it.

I think Morrisons is a serious competitor for Sainsbury's because you can get just as good, maybe even better, wines. The brand-named tinned items at Morrisons are exactly the same but much cheaper.

I think there is still an element of status-factor with Sainsbury's. Some people may feel too embarrassed to go to a cheaper supermarket. This is a shame because you can usually find better-quality items elsewhere for less.

Summary: Prefer others
