Advantages: No need for the wheelbarrow
Disadvantages: I cant wait til ive got enough coppers to use it again.
Im not totally positive wether every Sainsburys has one of these fantastic coin machines, but if your nearsest store does then check them out. I have a little basket in my bedroom that I chuck all my loose change into, you know the fiddly fives and coppers you would usually suck up the vaccuum cleaner. Once my basket is full, the coins get chucked into a container under my bed. Always promising that I would bag them up and wheelbarrow them to the bank cause they weigh a ton. Weeelll not any more! The fantastic coin machine im talking about at Sainsburys has changed my outlook on these little blighters forever. Basically you take all your loose change along with you,it doesnt need to be bagged up or sorted. Tip it onto the tray of the machine and the machine sorts it all and you watch it clock up the total on a computer screen. I clocked up About £36 in loose change. A small fee of 7.5p per £1 is charged, which I think is nothing when im not having to block any bank ques with my wheelbarrow. The machine is fast and 100% accurate. Once finnished counting a ticket is printed which you go and exchange for notes at the customer service desk. Just think my coppers would still be gathering dust if this wonderful invention hadnt crossed by me.
