I actually enjoyed shopping (Sainsburys)

I find shopping at Sainsbury always enjoyable which is something I didn’t think I would hear myself say. In truth shopping can be a pain, the store can be busy, the shelves empty, the queues long. So, when I found a nice time to go to shopping on Wednesday I found the complete opposite.
It was so much more calmer and more relaxing to shop, and by the time I had finished going round the isles I wasn’t even stressed out.

CAR PARK

The car park was fairly big and although at peak times like weekends it can be quite full I did manage to find a place quite easily. They have designated places for family shoppers and disabled people. The last thing you want is to go round in circles looking for a place on a wet morning so parking was quite easy.

STORE

I found the store very spacious and extremely clean. The floors looked polished and the shelves were stacked full which was a relief. I normally always have the misfortune of going shopping when the shelves are empty. They seemed to have a lot of tills open and queues were not that long.

FOOD

There was plenty of variety of food, from Sainsbury’s own brand to brand name food. I was surprised how many ready made meals you could buy. I did end up buying quite a few. The fruit was fresh and the bread was really fresh. I do have a problem with bread. When ever I go shopping the only bread available is the one that will go out of date the next day-how can anyone expect anyone to eat a loaf of bread in a day!.
There were plenty of suitable foods for children from baby food to snacks.
I did like the offers they had on. Like buy one and get one free or buy two and get the third free. The drink was extremely cheap Pepsi 2L for 87p.

PRICE

I have to say that my shopping bill was somewhat £20-£30 over what I normally spend. But, that was probably due to the fact that I bought much more shopping. There were to many offers and of cour
se I couldn’t resist. And the ready made meals did costs quite a lot. On the whole, it was well worth the price because the food didn’t run out and there was enough to eat a week later. We do our shopping weekly and I always find that we run out of ‘good’ food to eat five days later.

OVERALL

I enjoyed shopping at Sainsbury…….have I already said that! But, it was good. The variety of food was good and it was less stressful experience than I normally have.
