So there was me for the first time shopping at Sainsbury's in Leeds only last month. Took a change from Tesco and thought let's see what the fuzz is all about at Sainsbury's. It turned out to be a happy trip here and I had my head turning around twice at some of the prices. First section I took a visit in was the fruit and vegetable ... Read the complete review

I am not a supermarket snob and will shop just about anywhere but lately due to the fact that I do not drive I have been opting for my closest supermarket Sainsbury's. When I first started shopping at Sainsbury's I was a bit worried about the prices, I had been shopping at Tescos and thought that Sainsbury's would be a lot more ... Read the complete review

Sainsbury's is one of the largest supermarket chain in the United Kingdom, and I for one love it! Having come to UK recently, I have become confused several times over my shopping, since its competitors Tesco, and ASDA have similar pricing for many products and are also located in close proximity. But after being in UK for a month ... Read the complete review

In general it has too be said that Sainsburys is a pretty good store and they are definately one of the biggest supermarket chains in the united kingdom. Generally I would say that people that go to Sainsburys do like quality and will pay a little more for there products then they would say at Asda or tesco but will not pay premium prices like ... I have only been shopping at Sainsbury's stores for a couple of years and on a fairly infrequent basis for minor shopping rather than to pick up my main grocery shopping but I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of their stores and their staff who always seem happy to help and friendly. The stores I use are both city centre ones and ... Read the complete review

I haven't been a Sainsburys shopper for very long - no more than a month, with 4 main shopping trips and the odd visit to grab odds and ends I'd forgotten. I actually switched to Sainsburys from Asda after reading many reviews from other Dooyoo members on their Sainsburys Basics range - mainly positive. I'd always thought of Sainsburys ... General Info ---------------- Sainsburys is one of the largest and oldest supermarkets still found in the United Kingdom. It was founded by James Sainsbury and is a massive supermarket chain which is able to rival that of both Tesco and Asda. Sainsburys have also started to create Sainsburys Local's which are basically cut ... Read the complete review

I absolutely love my local Sainsburys, and do loads of my actual (as oppose to online) shopping there. Since having a baby a year ago, nearly everyone's birthday and christmas presents have come from there. It is a big shop, but its not one of the really giant ones and yet they still have a great range, I've never not found what I'm ... Read the complete review

Sainsburys is one of the oldest and biggest grocery and food retailers around in the UK. It was founded in 1869 by John James Sainsbury and became the largest grocery retailer in 1922. It has now fallen beind Tesco and Asda and is actually now the third largest supermarket retailer. When I was growing up we had a very large Sainsbury's ... Read the complete review

This is a review on Sainsbury's which focuses on its vegetarian and vegan provision. I'm generally a bit of a Tesco girl - purely because that is the nearest big supermarket - but I do actually like Sainsbury's better - purely because they seem to cater for veggies and vegans that little bit better. I have a little book called, ... Read the complete review

Sainsbury's is one of my favourites of the general supermarkets (Tesco, Asda, Morrisons). This is due to the quality of their products, especially at basics range, where I feel other stores do not compare quite as well. There are a range of Sainsbury's stores including, Superstore and Local, my favourite being superstore. I often find ... Read the complete review

Sainsburys is one of the biggest supermarkets in England. It is in direct competition with Tesco and Asda to take over the largest market share. Although I have not analysed stocks and shares I'm pretty sure at the moment it is coming second to Tescos as they have become England's supermarket giant of the moment. Sainsburys is famous ... Sainsburys is one of the largest supermarket chains in Britain. It seems to be one of the more expensive supermarkets however I feel that the quality of the food and the store surroundings of a high standard and so the slightly higher prices speak for themselves. Sainsburys is one of the UKs best known supermarkets. Car parks tend to be quite large but I must admit it is often dificult to get a spot anywhere near the store. Stores from the outside look different depending on whether they have recently been modernised. Some are very dated and were built in the 70s and it definately shows. The ... Read the complete review

Sainsburys is my favourite store, although I have taken to alternating some weeks with Lidls to keep the costs down. For the last 10 weeks I have been getting my shopping delivered and believe it or not this is cheaper. If I go to the store I spend over £100 for the week for two of us (plus 3 dogs, 4 cats and 5 ducks) but if I shop on line I ... Read the complete review

Sainsbury's is my usual grocery store. The store that I go to is not the largest yet it still manages to have almost everything I need. They are usually very well stocked even at around 9pm, except for the basics bread which has usually vanished by mid-afternoon. A great thing about Sainsbury's is its basics range. Sainsbury's, as all of you probably already know, is a massive chain of supermarkets which can be found all across the UK. It was founded in 1869 by Mr and Mrs Sainsbury - who would have thought? I don't know what it is, but every Sainsbury's that I've been to has been freezing cold. The fruit and veg is not that great and far too expensive. You can get much better quality items at your local grocers, or even Marks & Spencer (which seems to be almost the same price). The fish selection is good, but they don't ... Read the complete review
