Description: Health and beauty shop

Newest Review: ... you how expensive stores like boots are. Why shop there when you can get the same item for half the price from savers? The one thing that i dont like about Savers is the queue to pay. Every time i go in i get stuck in a huge queue! Prehaps thats just my local store, i would be interested to hear whether other stores have this problem too. Overall i think this is an excellent place to shop ... more

Savers is a low cost cosmetics and toiletries shop. They have outlets all over the uk in mainly city and town centre locations. Stores are pretty stark and grotty looking unfortunately. Savers offer make up, shampoo items, bath ware etc. they also sell tights, tissues and other personal care items. The perfumes are particually cheaper than other high street stores. I like the fact that Savers is so well priced, it just shows you how expensive stores like boots are. Why shop there when you can get the same item for half the price from savers? The one thing that i dont like about Savers is the queue to pay. Every time i go in i get stuck in ...  Read the complete review

Savers is a great shop that has about 230 branches all over the U.K. Most of them are in prominent High Street locations. Much of the range of products that it sells are in direct competition to Boots but unlike some branches of Boots it does not have a prescribed drugs pharmacy, photo processing department, or opticians department. It sells a wide variety of Health, Beauty, Dental and Personal Care products as well as a mixture of household products, mainly cleaning related. Dotted around the store you will also find some random things like jars of coffee, toys and gift sets. I have found Savers to be cheaper than Boots on some ...  Read the complete review

Savers are a budget chemist come store that can now be found on most high streets and it is well worth a visit if you have one nearby. It is like what Superdrug was meant to be, it takes all the products normally stocked by Boots the chemist and the likes and it adds to it the stocking of cleaning products and various bits and bobs and sells them at a much reduced price. You can expect to find all the big named cosmetics and perfumes in a savers store at much cheaper prices than you will at Boots or Superdrug and you can also buy other well known products such as Flash and Cillet bang cleaning products and much, much more. I have a ...  Read the complete review

I have been buying products from savers for the past 5 years or so and still visit it time and time again. It sells house hold goods such as cleaning products and beauty and skin care products too. They are a considerable amount cheaper than Boots or Superdrug and although they do not stock as many products, they carry all the well known brands, as well as some very cheap unknown brands. I buy necessary toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, shower gel etc from here and save alot of money. For example - herbal Essences shampoo is only £1 compared to £3 in Tesco. The store I visit also has a small cosmetics section but I do not know the brands it stocks as ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review savers: The baby of Boots and Wilkinsons (282 words)

Savers has been in my town now for the last few years. If you have never been in Savers its a bit like Boots and Wilkinson's rolled into one, it sells toiletries but also sells cleaning products too at lower prices than Boots although its probably on a par with Wilkinson's cost wise for its cleaning products. It sells all the leading brands such as Colgate, Imperial Leather, Sure and Lynx on the toiletries side and Flash, Cillet Bang and Cif plus some lesser known brands on the household side but they are much better value than they would be in other stores such as Tesco etc. The shop also sells items for baby such as cotton buds, dummies ...  Read the complete review
