Advantages: Fantastic store, fantastic website, fantastic ebay facility, fantastic selection, fantastic.....

Disadvantages: Can be a little pricey, although there are ways to get around this!

Schuh are a massive footwear retail company and provide a massive amount of shoes with many unusual designs for both males and females. Can be a little pricey however this review will tell you why, in my opinion, I think they are fab :)

The Shops

The actual shops are stocked full to the brim with shoes. Any store I have been in the shoes have been displayed beautifully by brand. A variety of sizes are usually available on the shop floor and all prices have been available on the underneath of the shoe. Plenty of space to sit and try shoes on, not comfy seats, trendy metal benches in most stores I have been to but this is fine! And if the shoe you require doesn't happen to be on the shelf a very friendly and helpful member of staff will go and get the pair you require. The staff, I have found, although you know they are just trying to make sales they are very friendly, very helpful and very informative when it comes to returns policies etc. Another very handy feature in store is you can get student discount ;) usually 10% off which can be very helpful to the poor students amongst us! The Website

The website is extremely easy to shop from. Massive selection of shoes (bigger than that in the store). It is a very easy site to navigate where you can search by price, brand, male/female and my favourite feature the HUGE sale section (massive just now with some great bargains because it is January!). The website has a sale all year round though with some great little bargains to be had. Worth a little look

Ebay??

Another exciting feature is the Ebay shop that Schuh have where they sell of discontinued stock, sale stock and damaged stock and very reasonable prices and sometimes you can pick up a steal. A brilliant idea I think. I managed to get a pair of irregular choice shoes (current season RRP £55.00) for £20, why were they sold so cheap I hear you ask? Damage to the souls, yup, damage to the bottoms that noone sees and is going to get more damaged as soon as you walk about in them! Be careful though especially with the words "slight discolouration" I have found this usually means one shoe has been sitting in a shop window and the other has been sitting in the stockroom and one is not slightly discoloured they are both totally different colours! However, you can return the shoes (returns slips are included with your shoes!). Some shoes are for auction, some are buy it now but if you are a bargain hunter like me you will love seeing new brands and styles and sizes added every hour....bliss! My favourite brands sold in Schuh...

Irregular Choice - My absolute favourites! Quirky styles, they go with everything I stick on a pair of black jeans and kind of dressy top and my irregular choice shoes and it finishes and outfit! Range from about £55 - £80 depending on what your looking for - however if you have read the above you will know there are other ways and means of getting them a little bit cheaper!

Red or Dead - Stunning dress shoes, the highest of heels and the most sophisticated shoe. Perfect to go with a little black dress J Loads of different varieties introduced every season and I have always found them to be a good quality shoe.

Schuh - own brand. A massive selection. A style to suit everyone. Variety of prices. Ideal!
