Advantages: Cheap, top products, easy to get parked at stores
Disadvantages: Dont get to see the products on shelf
Screwfix has to be one of the best places to go buy DIY products. They stock hand tools, Electrical components and fittings, Plumbing components and fittings. All the top brands like Makita, Ryobi, Bosch, Stanley, and many many more are stocked.
You can look on the website (Screwfix.com) or use the catalogue or just simply pop into the local store to have a look.
Most of the items that you will find in screwfix you will also find in B&Q the only thing is that it will more than likely be a lot cheaper to buy it at Screwfix.
The other good thing is that there is generally not a big long line of people waiting to get served, and the carpark is easier to get parked in.
At Screwfix it is run a lot like the Argos store were you go in and make a note of the product number and then go to the till to pay for it. Then it is collected out of the stores and brought to the front desk for you.
The only bad thing about this is that you do notgt to have a look at tge products before you purchase them.
They sell all the products at trade prices.
There is a massive range of products that they sell and if they do not have it in stock at the branch they can get it in for you next day fromteh central stores. The products fall in ranges as below :
Security
Sealants & Adhesives
Screws
Safety & Workwear
