Semi-Chem

Semi Chem is the chemists on the high street who simply try to offer great value for money as their core value. The shops which I have been in are normally pretty poorly laid out with the main aim being simply to cram as much in to the stores as possible to allow them to offer the prices they can. So there is not much space in the stores and they are normally not the most modern feeling places...why shop there I hear you ask? I tend to use Boots as my choice of chemist however I am very loyal to Semi Chem when it comes to their own brand fake tan wipes. I have tried and tested nearly every fake tan spray, wipe, mouse - the list goes on however none including the major brands work on me. I either go really streaky and patchy or it doesn't work at all. I tried Semi Chem's fake tan wipes several years ago and I have been going back every since. The packet has about 50 wipes in it, costs me about £1.49 but usually their on special deals where you get two packs at a discount price. Semichem is a high street health and beauty retailer that sell a great range of hair care, skin care, fragrances and household items such as bleach and air fresheners. Although they could be classified as a discount retailer there are a suprisingly large amount of designer brands from the usual names such as nicky clarke shampoo's, armani perfume, air wick air fresheners etc mixed in with cheaper options. Pay special attention for the weekly offers they run in store as these products are normally alot cheaper than you'll find elsewhere on the high street so if you time it right you could get a tidy saving. Perhaps my view could be tainted about this shop because they gave me a great job interview in April 2000. That was when a new shop was opening down the local high street. They promised me they would contact me if I got the job or not - i'm still waiting. They promised, so i'm sure they will phone one day - not!!!! Semi-Chem is a discount health/beauty/cleaning supplies/knick knack type shop. Discount beauty stores seem to be popping up everywhere these days. I hope this won't cause Boots to shut!
