Advantages: Very cheap.

Disadvantages: The shoes are not very good quality.

There is a Shoe Zone shop in many areas now. They sell footwear for men, women and children. They have a good selection of shoes for low prices. Students can get a 10% discount.

They sell mens shoes in black and brown and they also have a few styles of trainers and steel toe cap boots and wellies. Most of the styles go up to a size 12 but some go up to a size 13. It states on a label or tag on the shoe whether it is leather/has a leather upper or is textile.

They sell more womens shoes than mens and there are lots of different styles and colours. The smallest size is a 3 and the biggest they sell is a 9.

There are quite a few pairs of children's shoes and trainers. In the children's section they have a foot measurer which gives you an idea of the size needed but it is not completely accurate. They have a very few pairs at a size 3/4 and most styles start at a small size 5 going up to a bigger 5 in some styles.

They also have quite a large range of slippers for men, women and children. The lowest price being around £1.99. Most pairs are Shoe Zones own but they also have a few Disney pairs.

They change the styles each season and only have the boots out at winter and summer shoes in the summer. They change the shop layout quite a bit.

All shoes are on the shelf in pairs so they are ready to try on. You can ask if they haven't got your size on the shelf and they have plenty more in the stock room. They put security tags on all shoes on display which sometimes are put in the wrong place so you have a hole in your shoe.

Everything they sell is cheap but not of the best quality. Quite a few pairs of shoes I have bought from there have rubbed me a lot or fallen apart after not very long of having them. Another thing is that the sizes seem to be a bit wrong and vary a lot from style to style. I find that in some styles I need a size 6 and in others a 6 is far too small and I need an 8.

They have quite a few sales on throughout the year. They are mainly buy one pair and get one free sales but they also have end of line sales where they have reductions on certain styles.

The only extras they sell are insoles and heel grips. They don't sell shoe laces or cleaning products.

Summary: A good place to go for cheap shoes.
