Shopping Areas in BelfastNewest Review: ... jewellers, some toys shops and a big massive upstairs food court. This is great for a pit stop here when you are exhausted walking around as you can stop and grab a bite to eat and a cold drink. The other main shopping area in Belfast is Victoria Square shopping centre. This has a lot of clothes shops and restaurants and was only opened recently. I would advise shoppers to go here mainly ... more |

Im a real girly girl and i love clothes and absolutely love shopping! In my opinion, Belfast is one of the best places that you can shop in Ireland because of the amount of shops, its brilliant! Most people go shopping into Belfasts city centre area. The main shopping street is called Royal Avenue and there are a lot of shops around all the streets in this vicinity. Royal Avenue has Castlecourt shopping centre which has a lot of clothes shops, a few jewellers, some toys shops and a big massive upstairs food court. This is great for a pit stop here when you are exhausted walking around as you can stop and grab a bite to eat and a cold ... Read the complete review

Belfast is a great place to shop.Belfast has one main street. This main street is called Royal Avenue. At the bottom of Royal Avenue is the City Hall.So the street is about a ten minute walk top to bottom. The only bad thing about Royal Avenue is buses are constantly driving threw the main street,so it can be dangerous. The street has shops the whole way along it.The clothes shops are Jane Norman and Topshop,Topman and river island and designer clothing shop Karren Miller. The street has a lot more clothing shops along the Avenue. There is also a lot of cafes and cofee shops and fast food outlets. There is a shopping Mall called Castlecourt which has a lot of ... Belfast is constantly changing with many new shops appearing, most recently has been the opening of Victoria Square, which in itself is very impressive if abit daunting. The main anchor store there is House of Fraser which covers many floors, then there are many smaller stores within the centre as well as food places and a cinema, so pretty mcuh everything you need for a day out!! Though the one thing with the Victoria Square is it is very expensive so not somewhere to go if you are on a tight budget and looking a bargain. As for the rest of Belfast the other main shopping centre is Castle court with Debenhams being the main store, here you will also find TK ... Read the complete review

The Victoria Centre has opened in Belfast and is well worth a visit. Visually impressive architecture alone, it is also full of shoppers and a wide variety of stores, nice not to get rained on for once! You can access the glass dome by lift and by foot, not been up because there's been a queue but I'm sure it's died down by now. Shops include House of Frazer, Topshop, Calvin Klien underwear, River Island, The Pier and many more shops, cafes and an Odeon cinema. Very impressive overall and a real boost to the city centre. The last few new shops are opening now and the centre is a real draw. Lots of life about the place but not so thronged so you cannot move. The Kitchen ... Read the complete review

Belfast city center has undergone growth in recent years leading to a more commercialized shopping area. It wasn't that long ago that many big name companies simply wouldn't bring their businesses to Belfast, what with the troubles and all. More stable times have brought a huge variety of shops, supermarkets and malls back to the streets of Belfast. As far as city centers go Belfast's is not that big, it is centralized in a number of key streets that house most of the big brand companies. These key streets are Royal avenue, Chichester street and high street. There are many other adjoining streets that 'feed' off these, and also house any number of shops and ...
