Victoria Centre Belfast (Shopping Areas in Belfast)
Member Name: byblox
Advantages: Undercover, great stores Disadvantages: Expensive car park The Victoria Centre has opened in Belfast and is well worth a visit. Visually impressive architecture alone, it is also full of shoppers and a wide variety of stores, nice not to get rained on for once! You can access the glass dome by lift and by foot, not been up because there's been a queue but I'm sure it's died down by now. Shops include House of Frazer, Topshop, Calvin Klien underwear, River Island, The Pier and many more shops, cafes and an Odeon cinema. Very impressive overall and a real boost to the city centre. The last few new shops are opening now and the centre is a real draw. Lots of life about the place but not so thronged so you cannot move. The Kitchen bar is nearby for some great food but be hungry, the dishes are not for the faint hearted. If you enjoy shopping the place is a must. Summary: Great shopping venue |
