Im a real girly girl and i love clothes and absolutely love shopping! In my opinion, Belfast is one of the best places that you can shop in Ireland because of the amount of shops, its brilliant!

Most people go shopping into Belfasts city centre area. The main shopping street is called Royal Avenue and there are a lot of shops around all the streets in this vicinity.

Royal Avenue has Castlecourt shopping centre which has a lot of clothes shops, a few jewellers, some toys shops and a big massive upstairs food court.

This is great for a pit stop here when you are exhausted walking around as you can stop and grab a bite to eat and a cold drink.

The other main shopping area in Belfast is Victoria Square shopping centre. This has a lot of clothes shops and restaurants and was only opened recently. I would advise shoppers to go here mainly if they had a lot of money.

There are a lot of designer shops in Victoria Square and a lot of them are very expensive. There is a large Odeon cinema on the top floor of the centre and some great food places like Frankie and Bennys and TGI Fridays (my favourite!)

One of my favourite shops in Belfast is the huge Primark at the bottom of Royal Avenue. It has about four or five floors bursting to the seams with clothes, shoes and accessories. I could easily spend a good few hours in here at a time.

There are also some good shops on Belfasts High Street. There is a massive HMV is you are a music lover or movie buff and beside this a brilliant new TK Maxx. They have wall to wall designer items at very good prices.

I have to say that i would never get bored shopping in Belfast as there are tons of shops to suit everyones tastes and there are even some good charity shops around Shaftesbury Square and the Dublin Road area if you want to grab a few bargains.

I would recommend shopping in Belfast before christmas because you are sure to find loads of great bargains.

I was shopping in Belfast today and noticed loads of shops had sale signs in their windows which is brilliant too!
