Doncaster has a very comprehensive shopping area around the city centre with a great mixture of small shops, large department stores and the indoor/outdoor market. It is claimed that Doncaster has the largest market in the north of England and I can certainly believe that. The market is a mixture of indoor and outdoor markets with a terrific range of products and produce with many bargains and unusual items. Market days are Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.
