They're really unique and I can always find something in there but they're not cheap with most of their tops around 30 euros each! They have many other Spanish shops including Pull and Bear, Zara, Jack Jones and many more. These all have a good selection of modern clothing for younger people. There are plenty of other shops with clothes for all ages. You can find every shop in Barcelona from jewellery ones to pharmacies and supermarkets too. I visited Barcelona last summer for almost a week and I must say that it was an ideal place for shopping. The famous Las Ramblas main street was full of first-class shops and there were loads of other shops down countless side streets. My favourite shop that you must visit is Desigual. They are an upper class shop with a few premium prices, but they produce fantastically unique goods. Their clothing is sometimes bright but they all have wonderful designs on them, unlike any other clothes. They sell everything from tops for men and women to dresses, trousers, shirts and underwear. WOW! what an experience - if you get the chance please take the opportunity to go shopping in Barcelona! Head for Las Ramblas which is the main shopping area. It consists of a very long road with shops either side and you will be amazed at what you can find there. We found book shops which sold sold prints,unusual postcards, books and magazines in (what seemed to be) in almost every language, fabric shops which had super material and haberdashery goods, trendy boutiques as well as the equivalent to Primark (Quela!), leather goods, shoe and boot shops - great to find boots in July! - jewellery shops,pet shops,flower shops etc There was also a variety ...  Read the complete review

I went on a day trip to Barcelona whilst I was on holiday in September 2000. I went with the hope of shopping and plenty of it, and I was I must say deeply dissapointed...I found La Rambla, which is the main shopping street in Barcelona, and was amused by the Characetures that were being drawn and the beautiful flowers, but then I was horrified by the animals and how they were treated, on one occasion I saw 4 chickens in a cage that normally one hamster would run around in. Anyway...I walked to the end of La rambla and found myself in the central square, and thought that shops must be near..All I founf was a C&A, Marks and Spencers, Habitat and wait for it TOPSHOP!!!!! ...  Read the complete review
