Shopping in Wirral in general

Shopping in Wirral would not be deemed as bad as it is by most people if nearby Liverpool was not so far ahead of it. Birkenhead has most of the high street stores that you would expect of a town of its size, and other, smaller towns are full of independent shops and some smaller chains, places like Heswall and West Kirby are perfect places to shop in if you are buying things like birthday presents or christmas presents, but apart from that they're not much use. Wirral is home to some of Britain's worst and dishonest traders. blowing things out of proportion? Let me explain a little... Apart from the obvious, national crooks like Dixons, Curry's, Phones 4U, Argos and Index, Wirral is home to what is likely to be the worst offenders for "take the money and run" traders there are.
