Advantages: Erm, can I think abouit this?

Disadvantages: Depressing

The few times I make the mistake of visiting the Somerfields nearest to my home (it happens on my way back home, when I come back by bus) I have always arrived at home a bit depressed.

Somerfields is depressing. Let's put it simply.

The quality of the groceries is something to rival Poland in the early 70s and the people who still venture along the aisles of this supermarket seem blissfully unaware of the trash on display. You cannot help but feeling sorry for them too.

Admittedly I arrive at the till with few selected items, may be a can of peeled tomatoes, some time when I really feel hungry, some smoked bacon, but this is pretty much it.

Even their bread tastes very strange.

The meat is...orgh..I cannot describe it and I am sure that any decent health inspector would surely question it.

Conclusion. Not a place for me!
