Advantages: Well Stocked, Friendly
Disadvantages: Addictive
Sue’s Crafts is a craft shop situated at 38 High Street, Cheltenham. I was so pleased when I suddenly came across this shop accidentally one day. I have found that, in recent years, many needlecraft shops have closed down therefore making it difficult to replenish supplies of essential items for our hobbies. When you walk into the shop there is a colourful array of needlecraft kits hung up on racks so that each individual one can be clearly seen making it nice and easy to make your choice. The atmosphere is always very friendly and cheerful as well as the staff being as helpful as they possibly could be. Very many of the kits are Cross Stitch but Longstitch, Embroidery, Tapestry, Rug making and other needlecrafts are well represented. They stock an extensive range of both DMC and Anchor Embroidery Threads and Zwigart Fabrics which many people favour for their needlework. There is also a well stocked haberdashery section including ribbons, trimmings and beads of all sorts. Other crafts catered for are parchment craft (everything you need to make beautiful cards and gifts), glass painting, silk painting and rubber stamping not forgetting knitting, a full range of Stylecraft wool and patterns to suit everyone. I have always found them very obliging and willing to put themselves out for their customers. Out of preference I will always choose to shop there if possible.
