Its not just about fighting breakouts its mostly about preventing them. I was in Supergrug with a friend and we saw that this product was on special offer and as I love trying beauty products I decided to give it a go. On sale it was £1.99 and normal price £2.50.
I started using it and was amazed. First of all it went on the skin with no hassle. Once put onto the skin it disappeared instantly. My skin was not left oily or greasy. The next morning I looked at my face and the skin was clearer and looked healthy.
I've been using this product for two weeks and I have suffered from no breakouts. Its simple to use, it works and does not cost alot of money. Another important point is that you should use it over your normal moisturiser. Even so it does NOT leave your skin dry.
Its a great product and should be tried before deciding to invest in more expensive products. I have learnt to start of with cheap products and then work my way up to more expensive products if the cheaper products do not work rather than the other way round. Another lesson I have learnt; do not turn your nose up at these cheap products. A lot of them do work as well as the more expensive products.
What is good is I have found a product that works and I can afford to keep using it.
I'm not fortunate when it comes to spots, but I'm definetly not unfortunate either. I always have spots and blackheads, and they usually occur on my forehead, nose and chin, but I get the odd few dotted about. So obviously I always try using different facial washes, masks etc to get flawless skin. Before I go on any further, I must tell you that I am 14, so spots isn't uncommon. I have found that using different face washes helps, but then it just goes back to normal, so i settled on a foaming tee tree one (also made by superdrug). But thats not the miricle I've found. I bought a little 40ml tube (only size) of Superdrug Clarity overnight defence gel for about £2.69. **What It Says** 'Clarity gives your skin the attention it needs - fighting impurities without punishing your complextion. With a fresh fragrance and antibacterial agents to help cleanse and protect - it's the perfect balance for clearer skin everyday. Antibacterial, light and oil free, Clarity Overnight Defence gel works while you sleep, with Sebosed to help regulate the production of sebum and absorb excess oils. use every night to protect skin deep down and help prevent further breakouts.'(I won't list the ingrediats - it gets far too boring with all those long names). **What I say** When I put this on I first noticed the nice smell, then I was glad how it seemed to soak in so it didn't feel greasy or wet, in fact you could wear this in the day because it wouldn't notice. It didn't make my skin feel tingley like a lot of other similar products do. (I have fairy sensitive skin). I noticed a result practically straight away. I think I'd only been using it for a couple of nights and my skin was clearer. I didn't even use it every night because I sometimes forgot to put it on. But I've probably used it for three weeks (not including when I forgot!) and hardly anything had gone form the tube, I think it'
ll last ages, so it makes the price seem even better value! And another great thing about this product? It's not tested on animals, because Superdrug's own products never are!
Superdrug is a brilliant store,I alway seem to pick up loads of bargains, the buy one get one free (B.O.G.O.F. syndrome is alive and well in Superdrug. I buy lots of the bargain B.O.G.O.F. items when I see them, saving heaps of money with each purchase, after all, buying 24 shampoos @ £1.99 each when they are on B.O.G.O.F. saves £24.00. and lets face it,shampoo is no ill store,it will always be used. Superdrugs own brand handwash in the dispenser is lovely, the coconut one is our favorite. I buy all our medicines from Superdrug, and as often as possible I get their own brand ones, many tests have been carried out,and it has been shown that Superdrug own brand medicines are just as effective as the branded ones, and considerably cheaper as well. Branded goods are very competitivly priced.the fragrance counter, which stocks lots of the big names in perfume and aftershave, has some real bargains. All in all I thoroughly recommend shopping at Superdrug.
Do not buy this product! They are _nasty_. They smell bad, they don'twash very well, and above all, if you get any in your mouth you won'tbe able to get rid of the vile taste for days!Ok, so all in all, keeping soap out of your mouth is a good idea. Butthey are shrinkwrapped, and when you realise this whilst you are inthe shower, the only available thing to open it is your teeth (unlessyou fancy dismantling a safety razor to slice it open - which mightactually be preferable).Rant over, here's the non-ranty bit. The soap is fairly cheap. I thinkit was between 50p and a pound. It's in a cute little milk-urn shape, and has a picture of a cow on the front. It's available in milkshakeflavours - strawberry, chocolate, banana and vanilla. As a great fanof good vanilla scented products, I went for that one.Who knows, maybe the others aren't as nasty? Personally, I'm not goingto take the chance to find out.
