superdrug, not that super (SuperDrug)

Advantages: good customer service

Disadvantages: not brilliant product range

superdrug is a shop very similar to boots in the UK, providing toiletries and health products. They are second to boots in terms of store numbers and popularity and there are a few reasons for this. They do not provide the all round range of goods that boots do. For example i wanted to buy some pro-plus energy tablets the other day and was not able to get them in this store, however i know they are available in boots. It is not all doom and gloom however. The shops have a nice feel to them and from my experience staff are welcoming and helpful. Customer service is very important in my opinion and it seems that good service is something promoted by superdrug. The prices in general are also very competitive, Gillette razors for example are cheaper here than at boots. Overall this is a good store but a clear second best.
