Advantages: Good range of products, good prices and offers
Disadvantages: None
Just recently I have found myself shopping at Superdrug more and more. Superdrug is a chain of stores selling a range of products. I suppose you could call it a chemist, although it sells much more than than you might expect from a chemist. Superdrug stores can be found on most high streets in cities and towns.
Walking into my local Superdrug store is almost overwhelming because of the sheer amount of stock they seem to hold. They have a fantastic selection of make up ranges, body care products, hair care, hair accessories, travel procducts, baby items, perfumes and medicines. They have a dispensing pharmacy which always seems to be well stocked. There is also T Mobile concession in my local store, this is a recent addition and is partitioned off in one corner. In addition to the things you would expect to fingd in a chemist, Superdrug also sell magazines, crisps, snacks and have a refrigerated section containing sandwihes and other lunch items and drinks.
Superdrug seem to be cheaper on the whole than somewhere like boots.I popped in yesterday lunch time and got a 2 for 1 offer on dove body wash so I saved about £4.00. I also bought a sandwich which was delicious. The sandwiches are made by the Yummy Food Co and I can highly recommend them. At £1.49 for a really nice lunch you can't go far wrong.
The staff are always helpful and friendly, and you arer always asked if you need stamps or mobile top ups at the till. Superdrug is a 'no frills' kind of place where you get good service and value for money.
I love it!
Summary: Try it, you'll like it.
