sympatic Tesco: ... is the number one supermarket retailer in the UK and while not everyone are fans of theirs you have to admit that they do know what they are doing and how to go about keeping customers returning and spending through their tills. They compete hard on price by offerring a wide range of goods in their stores, in addition to food and household cleaning goods they sell a lot of alcohol at very competitive proces, t...

... Of Thorntons: Thorntons is a British chocolate company which has been established since 1911 and now has around 400 stores, an annual turnover of £180 million and a very successful website as well as products in several of the largest supermarkets. Chocolate is big business which Thorntons know and each and every year they are developing new products and bringing out new items to help keep their business growing and their increasing customer base happy. (Thanks to Wikipedia for some of this information). Store Layout: My local store is a fairly small store and besides the usual shelves all around the edge of the store filled with goodies there are big circular pl...

AGONYAUNT Tesco
... in UK should know about Tesco and I am sure in fact everyone, at least on Dooyoo know. Just for the record, Tesco is the largest chain of supermarket in UK and every 4 Pounds spent on food in UK, one is spent at Tesco. I am going to review my experience shopping at Tesco and I will stay clear of the controversy whether Tesco is killing local communities, by pricing out smaller shops. I do not think they are, anyway. I shop at Tesco one a week, on the weeks when I am in London all week. If I am not in London all week, I shop locally (I spend a lot of time abroad on business trips) I buy at Tesco food, groceries and soft drinks and beer. I normally go to my l...

Amanda-Jayne Morrisons
... never thought I would ever rave about a supermarket, but life is full of surprises. Initially, I started shopping as Morrisons as it is the most local supermarket to me and as a non-driver easy to get to. It isn t a particularly large supermarket but still find it meets all my needs. I m a bit of a traditionalist in the sense that I go to the supermarket for food. There is nothing more annoying than having to traipse around an oversized supermarket because they need to house all the other non-food products. I personally think Morrisons offers the best value for money out of all the major supermarkets. I usually spend around £70-£100 on a monthly shop and when I look a...
