For example, wholewheat pasta was 41p where everywhere else was over 60p. That said, this has changed recently and now Tesco is 41p and Sainsburys...

Firstly staff morale is at on all time low, with rumours flourishing of a takeover by the co-op no attempt has been made to reassure staff that they will keep their jobs. And this is Somerfield s main problem, when it comes to managing staff they fail miserably; in efficiency drives they have reduced the number of staff to a number which cannot simply do the job effectively. Hence queues at the tills are huge, and the shelves aren t filled, meaning customers leave unsatisfied. Furthermor...

... local Spar shop is perfect for me - probably beacause I do not live in a normal family - let me explain..... My husband works in the fast-food business so does not need feeding much at home.... My eldest daughter has just finished uni and is does not live permanently at home..... My other daughter is a teenager on the go - college and going out are her main pastimes.... so.... we not really need to do a big shop very often - lucky aren t I?! I find that if we go to Tesco etc that we buy a lot of food that never gets eaten - I took G.B s advice and checked what I was throwing away each week and decided to only buy what we would actually consume. This is whe...
