Telford Shopping Centre Highstreet Shopping

Newest Review: ... of a large ring road so you can generally just keep going round until you find the most suitable or appealing car park. It does get very busy at christmas (just like anywhere else) but I have always managed to find a space if I am patient enough. The main bugbear is that it will cost you. You do not actually need to drive as the main bus station is based within the centre itself and connects to all local areas and towns as far away as Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton. The local train station (Telford Central) is about a 10 minute walk over specially made access bridges and is safe enough. Once you are inside there are literally tons of shop... more

Telford Shopping Centre: Plenty of Shops and Nice Places to Eat (687 words)

I have lived in and around the Telford area for most of my life and I actually think our shopping centre does us proud. It is bigger than you might expect, not quite the behemoth of Merry Hill but plenty big enough to find anything you might need or want and certainly sporting some big names too. I only have one main negative point to make about Telford Shopping Centre and that is that you do have to pay to park. Until a few years ago parking was free, then they introduced a system where only the first 30 minutes was free (which was handy if you were just nipping in to the bank on a lunch break etc) and then they made it so it is 50p for half an hour, all the ...  Read the complete review

Not worth the parking (282 words)

I live in Shropshire and even though this shopping centre is on my doorstep I avoid it as much as possible. Everything about this shopping centre is awful, I would recommend the Bullring, or Merry Hill over Telford. It's just not worth the hassle of going there. For a start you have to pay to park, which would be ok if there were good shops but there are not many to choose from. To park costs from 50p to £6.00 depending on how long you are there. If you ever lose your ticket you will have to pay the full day rate no matter how long you are there. Even to just pop to the bank you usually end up paying at least 50p which really annoys me. ...  Read the complete review

Telford shopping centre is a major part in my life as i live 5 min`s away i am allways up there, there are a number of fashion shops or as i would call them Top end shops, there are also a number high street shops ie Primark and C and D`s. On the gaming front you have the Game station and game, but you could also go in to the likes of HMV and ASDA. There are a number of cafes there and other food outlets. On top of all this you can gon to the Town park which is 2 minutes away from the shopping centre and is free to use apart from wonderland which has a small charge to enter. All in all i think Telford has everything to suit everyones taste whether ...  Read the complete review

All your shopping needs under one roof (622 words)

I live about 20 miles away from Telford shopping center , and have been shopping there for as long as i can remember, every time i visit theres always a new shop being opened, and over the years it has continued to expand. My mum would take us there once every month to stock up on bits, and we'd all have our pocket and go off to spend it. The center itself has around 160 shops, so there is something to cater for everyones needs, they are mainly top name stores, but there are little boutiques as well. There are about five different car parks to chose from and each one lets you enter the center from different points, the main car park is situated at the front, and the ...  Read the complete review

Telford Shopping Centre: Nothing special (298 words)

I've lived in telford for 18 years and work in the Telford Shopping Centre, and it's ok, but nothing special A reasonable ammount of shops gives you a nice selection, but there's not enough diversity in my opinion, a HMV with no major competetor, several fashion shops, several mobile phone shops including for some reason 2 seperate carphone warehouse and GAME shops (why anyone needs two of the same brand i don't know). There are always empty spaces to let and i just don't feel theyre trying to gain any kind of change. Where are the electronics retailers? need more specialist shops! The parking is a complete joke, having to pay for a start is just ...  Read the complete review
