Tesco Direct really appears to have gone downhill over the past six months. I used to use tesco online shopping and delivery with no problems but changed over to Waitrose when they started delivering locally. I have used Tescos twice in the last four months and had major problems on both occasions with them not being able to find my house even though I have given them instructions and it is in a prominent position close to a sharp bend. ON one occasion it took seven phone calls and three failed deliveries before tescos finally delivered a wedding present a week late. On another occasion I saw the van looking for a house, went outside and shone a light trying to attract the drivers attention but he drove away. I nenver received a phone call even though I had given the driver a landline number. Had to phone customer services who phoned driver and item was redelivered.

Summary: Maybe better for day light delivery but impossible at nighttime
