Advantages: Very easy for Tesco to take your money

Disadvantages: Very difficult for them to complete their obligation to the customer

Tesco Direct really needs an injection of customer service management..... their call centre staff have no line management to resolve issues from non delivered orders. The washing machine I paid for on Tuesday should have been delivered yesterday, ha ha I must have been dreaming that I checked their on line tracking system which told me it had been dispatched. Guess what, Friday afternoon and I am still waiting and just received a call from the logistics company stating that they won't make it today because of the 'weather'. I am in Manchester and we haven't been affected by the weather. The logistics depot is also in Manchester and using the weather as an excuse is pathetic. This is my first time of using Tesco Direct and from the experience I have encountered it is very likely to be my last. Can someone please let me know if this is standard service from Tesco Direct or have I just been unlucky?
