What a shambles! (Tesco Direct)

I ordered a new ipod nano with tesco direct last sunday, and was given a delivery to northern ireland of wednesday, by 7pm. Monday afternoon and an email stating the ipod had been despatched.

I checked with my bank on tuesday and the funds had been taken from my bank account. 7pm came and went on wednesday but no delivery. I expected the ipod to arrive on thursday, waited in until 7pm, and nothing! I rang customer services, got an apology, but was told that the ipod was with the delivery company and would be delivered on friday. Friday 530pm,no ipod.

I ring customer services again, get another apology and get put on hold! After a period of hold, the chap tells me that the ipod wont be arrivingas the order had been frozen out in the system. Whats does that mean?

He then proceeded to say the item, cant be reordered and that he can offer me a refund that will take 5 days to clear back into my account. The moral of this story is dont use tesco direct!
