Advantages: Lots of choice

Disadvantages: How they get low prices

Along with the other supermarkets Tesco got some bad press recently because of the way they force farmers to produce their goods to a certain standard and the low prices thy pay.

For the consumer you do get lots of good deals at Tesco and the choce and range of products is really good. My local store is really large which means it is much better than the nearby Asda and along with food it has a large range of cheap clothes and electrical goods, they even have washing machines and computers for sale at the moment.

There is always plenty of staff on the tills with a range of options for getting through the tills like self serve and an under ten items area.

Summary: Food retailer
