Getting bored of Tesco (Tesco)

Advantages: Big Selection ofLoads of items

Maybe I should start by first letting you know that I'm not a big fan of Tesco's. I used to really like them when they first came around up here but now I'm fed up of them. With Inverness classed as Tesco Town can anyone blame me? 3 stores in one small City and no other store apart from a smaller Morrisons for competition.

They used to have really good deals, but now I never find a deal that I really need, none of my weekly shopping products are ever on offer. On top of that their prices have fairly flown up. I know with the inflation recently that prices in every store have risen. I would understand this if it was the same when I shop in Morrisons but it's so much cheaper there and they have brilliant deals.

One good thing about Tesco is the staff at the checkouts are really quick and seem to be friendly enough as well. They also have self service checkouts which means you can do everything yourself and get out of the shop a lot quicker.

The main stores near me are very big and take forever to walk round. They have clothes, cds, dvds, electrical items and more in it. This is quite good if you need to buy a last minute present where everything else is closed, or you just need clothes for work. Prices for clothes are pretty good and some of the stuff is quite nice.

The strange thing about many of the stores are they state they are 24 hours but close about 10pm on the weekends. Maybe because they are too quiet to stay open but should they not take their 24/7 sign down?

Also another thing about them is the different rules for different stores. For instance I was recently in one store at about 9pm and was able to buy fireworks but when I went to the store closer to home they said due to security they weren't allowed to sell them after 8pm. Should they not all run on the same rules.

Overall they are good company if you want a big selection and want everything in the one store. But watch the prices before you get a shock at the till.

Summary: They have got some good stuff but with too many stores about you don't get to vary where you shop
