Advantages: convenient, wide variety

Disadvantages: mistakes in advertising prices

I do the majority of shopping at Tesco but recently, I have started to wonder why. It used to be my most local supermarket but I have since moved and now my most local one is Lidl and there is a Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury's all at equal distance. I still find myself venturing off to Tesco but I think I need a change.

There is always a Tesco nearby, wherever you are and they are pretty convenient. The big superstores have everything you need at a good price and the smaller ones have all the useful everyday things that you need between big shops. I definately have nothing to complain about in terms of stock. Tesco have a wide variety of choice and their Tesco Value range is second to none. Excellent prices and good quality. Petrol is also usually the amoung the cheapest around.

A massive draw back to me is that too many times I have bought something from Tesco on a buy one get one free, or a reduced price offer, only to get through checkout and find that it hasn't shown up on my receipt and I have paid full price. This is bad enough without then being rudely directed to the customer service by way of a point which involves a long queing process to get your money back and consequently leaving without the product.

I like Tesco but I am getting increasingly frustrated by the mistakes in advertising products. Surely if it says it os one price, you should get it at that price, after all it's Tesco's mistake not mine!
