Advantages: Cheap own brand items, one stop shop for pharmacy, groceries, electrical etc

Disadvantages: None

Compared to sainsbury's and Waitrose, Marks and Spencer Tesco offers better value, equally good customer service and a great selection of products.

Tesco's tagline is every little helps and its certainly true when it comes to groceries. Some people might argue that the quality is less but I dont think so and its great to have a store that offers a variety of big brands and own branded products.

I buy some own brand items which I think is a good idea as it helps my shopping total at the end! The choice of own brand is huge, you can always find a Tesco own version of exotic things such as couscous or just the basics such as bread and milk.
Tesco value includes tiny tiny prices such as 9p for a strawberry yoghurt! Beat that Actimel, Muller et al!

As well as groceries Tesco are trying to take over the world by offering everything from Tesco mobile phones, to Tesco clothes, Tesco home and motor insurance and Tesco pharmacy.

With the Tesco mobile you only need to top up £10 to get triple points on your clubcard, which is a great way to boost your total. You can then spend the money on either redcued shopping bill or aon deal time vouchers which include days and meals out as well as holiday discounts and other benefits.

A recent survey said that the average person in England spends £1 in every £8 at Tesco. Wow. But given the huge range of products they now offer its not that surprising when you think about it.

I recommend taking out a clubcard and saving up points to get discounts in store or converting into deal vouchers to treat yourselves with. I also recommend trying some of their own brand food.

Yes, quality is important, but you might be surprised at just how high quality the food is when you try it.

I often get the 9p yoghurt- its a great go to item when i want a snack and

cant find anything that fits the bill.

All in all Tesco is great

The overall choice is limited and tesco value products are appaulingly bad quality usually. Thats just my opinion though as I live next to one.
