Well done Tesco! They are currently selling two 200g jars of Nescafe coffee granules for only £5. But, I must admit, I still wonder if 200g is more or less than half-a-pound.

So Tesco has decided to come to the rescue to people like me who still have no intuition about these metric weights and measures. They have announced that they intend, in contravention of the recent European ban, to re-introduce Imperial weights and measures to thier nationwide chain of Supermarkets.

If you are like me and you horseless carraige still takes you 100 rods on a hogshead of petrol and the thought you might temporarily re-capture your youth thinking in pounds and ounces or simply want to save yourself £3 on coffee - get down to Tesco !
