Advantages: The wonderful range of products

Disadvantages: Can be a little pricey

The Body Shop is a wonderful shop, which sells a wide range of beauty, skin care, bath and shower lotion.

The Body Shop founder Anita Roddick opened the first shop in March 1976 at 22 Kensington Gardens, Brighton.

The Body Shop is mainly known due to "Not tested on Animals" products.

I visit my local Body Shop quite often, as i love the make up and always use their body butters, so forever running out.

On my recent trip to The Body Shop i found the store stocked with Christmas gifts. The range was very big, and they had a all sorts of gifts for everybody in your family. They are currently offering 3 4 2 on their Christmas gifts, which i thought was a great deal as all the gifts in The Body Shop are great quality, and well worth the money.

The staff are always very friendly whereever you go i've found. As you walk in they always see if they can help at all, but not in a pushy way like some shop assistants. They like to point out the great offers at the moment, and make sure you always pick up the extras you are entitled to if there are buy one get one free offers on etc.

The make up assistants are always very happy to give you a free make over, this is a great way i guess to show you how good their make up is, and how good it can make you look. I've never been given a make over before, but my sisters has, and i can really rate The Body Shop make up.

I recently signed up to the Love Your Body membership card. I usually get asked everytime i am paying at the tills about the membership card, but £5 always seems a bit much when i'm payg £50+ for my products. So last weekend when i was on Quidco (cashback site) they were offering you £4 cashback if you took out a Love Your Body membership card, this was great as the card cost £5 and you got free the Almond Oil Daily Hand and Nail cream, which would usually cost you £8. I have now received my card and i think its fab, with a lot of perks, which are:-

10% off all your purchases for a year
A gift on your birthday (upto rrp £5) by simply visiting the store during your birthday month to collect your gift
A free gift on your 4th stamp (rrp £5)
A free gift on your 8th stamp (rrp £10)
Plus, invitations to exclusive events

Summary: Become a member of Love Your Body - well worth the £5 signup fee
