Advantages: natural products, against animal testing, helps the vulnerable
Disadvantages: none
The Body Shop is one of my all time favorite stores not only is it a shop on the high street but also has an online store where you can order products to be delivered.
The Body Shop sells all the natural things like different fruits and plants to make all the products that they sell such as: shampoo & conditioner, make-up and skin care products like moisturiser and body butter. The Body Shop also sells gifts ranging from £5-25 plus.
The Body Shop also has a loyalty scheme for its customers'. The customer pays £5 for the card but then for the rest of the year gets 10% off on purchases, admittadly I think if your only going to buy 1 product in a year you aren't going to benefit from this loyality card but if you are a regular shopper at The Body Shop then you will certainly feel the benefits. On your birthday you even get a little gift!
I really like The Body Shop values and what their image is. They beleive in helping the vulnrable, so a percentage of the amount of profit that the company makes gets given to charities.
One of my favorite products from The Body Shop is the Mango Lip Butter, this product is made from natural ingredients and I know that by this product being sold it is helping vulnerable women to make a living.
The Body Shop is also against animal testing which is always a plus I dont like the thought of the products I use to be tested on animals.
Overall The Body Shop is a great shop for all those pampering things you need. Some things can be expensive but everything is of high quilty and the money is being put to good causes.
Summary: A lovely shop with high quality products go in and try something for yourself
