Advantages: Products, nice people, plenty of offers

The body shop, a chain of shops aimed at selling face/body produects that are ethically friendly in all ways possible.

I became aware of the body shop a few years back when I was 15 or so, I was given a pack for christmas for some reason, but used the face wash and have been hooked on that stuff immediatly, it lasts a while, was cheap (price has increased by £2 the last month or so) and works wonderfully.

The store has a huge variety of products, a range for men, such as myself, and many various types of body/make-up products to suit even the fussiest women, alot of people have a problem with the cost, although having taken into account many offers and savings it's negligable.

For instance, just last week I was able to purchase:

Face wash, 2x shower gel, cover stick, eye curling kit, face nice blemish protecter + various other things for just £20 thanks to my body shop discount card and 2x £5 off offers in store, a saving of £15 making it pretty much a half price shop (which incidently is advertised on their online store).

I must add most of those items were not for me...

I may be a man but the face wash is brilliant and the shower gel is extremley nice stuff with regards to smell and feel.

I have also found the people in the store to be very very nice people, they like to sell things but not in a very salesperson way, somehow it seems friendlier than that, even the security man last time was handing out baskets, rather than the usual glaring at people my age as if we're doing something wrong.

Overall, great store, with offers can be a bargain and the prooduce is brilliant, definatly recommend this store.

Summary: Brilliant store, better than Boots
