Advantages: so many shops to choose from

Disadvantages: gets busy,, especially if you want food!

Visit the Bullring!

Birminghams Bullring, which is located in the city centre, hosts a modern new complex with over 160 shops to explore. The building is light and airy, and built on 3 different levels which are accessable by escalators or lifts. There is also underground parking, which provides plenty of spaces, if you choose to drive into the city.
Otherwise there are a wealth of buses around the city and Newstreet station, which is probably the cities main station, provides many train services, local and national.

If your like me and shopping makes you hungry, then you will have 25 restaurants or places to eat or drink. But be warned they can get really busy. Restaurants to choose from range from nandos, cafe rouge, pizza hut, or burger king, the choice is varied.

There is a huge variety of shops, you really will be shopping until you drop if you visit. You will find all your highstreet stores such as, Bank, miss selfridge,Animal, new look, tk. maxx.

The bullring now has wireless internet access around the building which might be useful for some of you.

The redevelopmennt of the bullring, which occured around 2001. Has had a great impact on industry for locals, and has improved tourism for the city. The bullrings new developments was at first criticised by some for its rather strange exterior. The grey bubble effect was at first seen as an eyesore.

My over all opinion...

The bullring has tramatically improved the city. So many shops, not enough time. Maybe my only criticism could be that it can get rather busy, but this is typical of most city centres.
I recommend the bullring parking, You cant miss it if you drive into the centre. l highly recommend that you visit the bullring if you havent already been, dont neglect the rest of the city as well though!

Summary: A great day of shops shops shops

Haven't been since they remodelled but I always love the shops in Brum, Oasis is my fave ;-)
Is The Bullring still as easy to drive into with the 1 way system or have they done away with that now?
