The Disney Store

I have never been the worlds biggest fan of Disney films but think that it is fantastic the magical world that they create for children. Having experienced Disney World itself I remember the thrill of just being surrounded by all of the magic and so when my wife decided she wanted a look in the Disney Store whilst out in Edinburgh I was fine with this as I know how much she loves all things Disney. I am a big child at heart. You only need to walk into my living room to find I don't act my dear age of 39. I have giant Winnie the Pooh teddies owning their own corners in my living room and Disney globes sitting on my shelves. So when it comes to the Disney Store as you can imagine I love it!!! Disney stores are everywhere now and I think they do give the true sense of Disney if only they had Snow White and Cinderella walking around it would be almost perfect. You walk into the front door and all you see is Disney Disney Disney its not just like a kid in a toy store its like a kid in the best toy store ever everything Disney you could ever want. Disney stores sell an assortment of Disney merchandise such as clothes, toys, dress up clothing, mugs and collectables. Going to a Disney Store, especially one in one of the Disney Resorts is not just shopping, its an experiance, any Disney Store I have visited has been decorated beatifully and the ones in the American and Euro Disney are amazingly done up. They have Disney decoratations every where, on the roof all up the walls and even outside, they really give you that childish feeling when you walk in, though this probably puts you in more of a mood to buy their overly priced goods inside. I love this shop it always makes me feel good when I go into it. BUt unfortunately my bank balance doesn't always agree. As with anything Disney related it doesn't come cheap. There is such a range in the shop it is very hard not to find something you want to buy. There are the obvious children's toys and dressingup clothes but there are also lots of things for adults. They tend to stock some of the really nice collectables that you see when you go to the Theme parks. I really like the snow globes they have.
