Advantages: Disney Disney Disney so much fun

Disadvantages: Unhappy staff, no snowglobes and empty shelves

Disney stores are everywhere now and I think they do give the true sense of Disney if only they had Snow White and Cinderella walking around it would be almost perfect. You walk into the front door and all you see is Disney Disney Disney its not just like a kid in a toy store its like a kid in the best toy store ever everything Disney you could ever want.

Disney stores sell an assortment of Disney merchandise such as clothes, toys, dress up clothing, mugs and collectables. As a child I used to beg my mother everytime we went into town for us to go into Disney store and she always let me. The great thing about it is that you can go in and you child will get so excited you wont even have to buy them anything. Disney is one of the most famous and popular brands and just going into the store and hearing the Disney music and seeing the wide screen showing all the new DVDs is just thrilling. Disney is not just for children and despite the fact that there are a lot of gifts for children there are also a lot of gifts for adults. I often buy my mother and friends Disney mugs or slippers and I am a collector of snowglobes especially the Disney one which means that even as a adult I love going into the Disney store to see if they have any new snow globes.

However this is one of my disputes because I could go into the Disney store and every other Saturday I could go in and they would have a new snowglobe however now I go in and they only have one or two and very rarely do they have the huge £60 - £80 ones which I am a collector of. As well as this I think the stock has gone down hill a lot lately. All you ever see in the store now is High School Musical or Hannah Montana and not as many classic Disneys items as there used to be and plus there are often much more empty shelves than there were when I was a child. As well as this the Disney shop is extremely expensive, I used to work in Woolworths and they showed a very similar if not better High School Musical cheerleaders outfit they one in Woolworths cost £15 and you got free pompoms in the Disney Store it cost £20 and the pompoms were an extra £7.50 which I think is just a rip off. As well as this the staff used to always be happy and helpful like Disney Store staff should be now I think there are just grumpy teenagers who cannot be bothered and just keep looking at the clock for when they can go home. (Sorry to anybody who works in the Disney Store)

If I was reviewing the Disney Store 5 or so years ago I would have given it a review of 5 stars however they just cannot keep up the way they used to be and now I just don't think the store is as good as it used to be and there reducing my rating.
