Advantages: Fantastic store, well organised, clean & tidy, helpful staff, some great special offers.

Disadvantages: Some items can be quite expensive compared to similar stores or supermarket prices.

My local Entertainer is located in Harlow, Essex.

The Entertainer is a chain of toy shops that sells pretty much everything that children could ever want!

When you first enter the store you will see shelves and shelves of toys everywhere you look, everything from play dough to electric toys to board games and everything is very well organised with entire shelves dedicated to Teletubbies, In The Night Garden, Board Games, Playdo and various other toys/programmes that children love. This makes it fairly easy to just enter the store and head to whatever section sells the toys that your child or relative is currently interested in and if you are pushed for time this can be fantastic as it's easy to see if they have stocks of the latest must have toy that your child just desperately wants to have!

There is always plenty of staff available in the store and considering the size of the store I am always impressed with just how knowledgable they are about products (both in stock and out of stock) and how friendly they always seem to be.

Some of the prices here are more expensive than other stores such as Asda or Tesco but I'd always advise shopping around and keeping your eyes peeled on their website (www.thetoyshop.co.uk) for some of the fantastic offers that they have running at any one time.

I would recommend the Entertainer, it's a fantastic place to browse for gifts for children or even just retro toys, such as the Rubix cube, for yourself and there really should be something here to keep any children entertained and I frequently visit here to compare prices on board games or to pick up gift vouchers for my nieces & nephews for Christmas.

I am rating the site 4/5 because of the reasons listed above and I would recommend you visit the store if you are looking for the latest must have gift or you have a list of different toys/games to pick up and want to get it done as fast as possible!
