Advantages: SO much to choose from you may never leave ....
Disadvantages: You always end up buying something, it is impossible to resist.
After pushing my eyes back into my head upon my first sight of the Gadget Shop, I walked in with possibly the most excited look on my face you can ever imagine. I spent over an hour on my first visit, and came back several days that week to look at the beautiful things contained within those cabinets and rub my hands at the prospect of owning some of these trinkets. The Gadget Shop is one of the best shops in any High Street for people of all ages. Adults and children alike can find something that they are going to want to buy on the spot. The prices are reasonable, and you do get the odd special offer on some of the larger items, as well as some clearance prices on the smaller items. The Gadget Shop is the shop to visit if you are having trouble picking a birthday present for someone, and you don't quite know what to get them, the only problem being that after browsing for ten minutes you won't know what to buy for them, as there is so much to choose from. Adults beware, as this is shop has an invisible tractor beam that may change your lovely child into a horrible crying one until it crosses that door and looks into ever single cabinet to see exactly what is in there. I have always found the shop to be clean and tidy, and the staff presentable, friendly and helpful, they are always able to find something that you can't see no matter how hard you look. There is always a good range of products to play with and try out before commiting to buying them, and the staff will always let you see something first. The stock is always changing, and everytime you go back there is always something new to look at. Some of the best things I have picked up in the Gadget shop have been presents for other people, but I have bought a lava lamp there, a bargain at £35.00, a small pocket knife at £2.99, a silver plated Zippo lighter for £15.00 and various other pieces of Simpsons, Star Trek, Futurama, South Park and Wallace and Gromi
t "stuff". The pricing is moderate and you will be hard pressed to find any shops selling any of their products at a lower price, if selling them at all. Also if you can't make it to the shop itself, you can order products from "Open" on Sky Digital. I only have one complaint about the Gadget Shop, other than this it is one of the best shops, I visit on a regular basis, and have bought so much from it, for myself and for my friends, that I couldn't even begin to compile a list. Why oh why did they make my local branch the size of a large bedroom ? The place is always crammed full of inquisitive children with their noses pressed against the glass and stopping anybody moving around the shop ! Please build a bigger one !
